Our research group Methods and Algorithms for Bioinformatics belongs to French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and is hosted by the Computer Science Dpt of University of Montpellier (in the LIRMM joint unit UMR 5506). We offer interactive web services, software, and programming libraries for bioinformatics on the ATGC bioinformatic platform. Well known software from our group are for instance LoRDEC and PhyML.We also support life science projects involving sequencing data analysis and develop innovative methods and algorithms for such projects when needed. Our group is specialised in processing of deep sequencing data and phylogenetics. We are based in Montpellier in the South of France. The ATGC platform is a founding member of the French Bioinformatics Institute (IFB), which is the French Elixir node. The IFB is also a unit from Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS).
