Creating global impact through open and reproducible science
Acting as a hub for the UK functional genomics community, we are supporting partnerships between leading researchers, clinicians and industry. By using advanced tools like gene editing, disease-relevant cell models and AI we aim to explore how genetic changes contribute to disease.
By making our research open, accessible and reproducible, we are helping to create real benefits for scientists and patients across the world.

The Data Coordination Centre for the UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative
The Data Coordination Centre (DCC) aims to accelerate scientific breakthroughs in functional genomics by enabling scientists to find, use, and share data generated by the Initiative. We are a centralised team based at the University of Exeter to support researchers funded by the UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative (FGx).
The DCC will work to:
- Support data standardisation and analysis
- Enable the adoption of FAIR ...
